Based in Cambridgeshire, Pre-Develop Archaeology offers archaeological services, with a view to support its clients, and aid in the discharge of conditions attached to their planning briefs. Overall, our aim is to mitigate damage to the heritage resource while helping our clients move their projects forward.

The owners of Stanwick Hall are generously giving Udig access to its parkland, providing Udig with an opportunity to train budding archaeologists and enthusiasts in the art of archaeological excavation while further expanding the history of the Hall, its grounds and Stanwick village.
pda'S CURRENT AND RECENT PROJECTS
Join the team and discover what lies beneath the ancient earthworks within the grounds of Stanwick Hall’s parkland. Building platforms, trackways and ridge and furrow abound and await exploration by the team.

NO CONTRACT IS TOO SMALL
Team Members aged 8+ can attend but will need to be accompanied by an adult.
A minimum of one adult per two children. Those 17+ years can attend with a signed letter of permission from a parent or guardian.
SAVING OUR PAST FOR THE FUTURE
You are welcome to join the team for as long as you wish; two weeks is recommended for a more complete learning experience. During your time with us, you will have ample opportunity to take part in an interesting and varied range of archaeological activities under the guidance of trained archaeologists; and for future reference, you can make a record of all your efforts within your very own Skills Passport.
